Alan Kendall is excellent at multitasking which is fortunate for NGFM! NGFM receives many patient calls daily. We have an answering system to help us direct the many calls to the correct employee. This reduces costs for our patients!

The paperwork at a doctor's office is immense. Amanda Wheeler Dickert and Stephanie Arrowood discuss some home health papers that need to be completed for a patient.

Brandi Beavers is another certified medical assistant at NGFM. She has a heart of gold and never fails to bring a smile to our patients' faces. Brandi Beavers is the mother of a beautiful little girl who aspires to be a cowgirl.

Working together is essential for cohesive, thorough healthcare. Good communication between our nurses is just as important. This photo features Brandi Beavers and Brittany Collar Maurouard. Brittany Collar Maurouard is a certified medical assistant. She has extraordinary skills at drawing blood and an extensive amount of knowledge of all things laboratory!

Brittney Gwynn is a licensed practical nurse (LPN). She is our phone nurse which means that she is in charge of returning all patient calls. These sometimes enumerate over 40 phone calls daily! She is also in charge of checking the medication refill line. Due to the number of incoming calls and number of refills, please anticipate that while usually refills occur fairly quickly, we appreciate having 24-48 hours notice so that the doctors can approve the refills and make sure that the medication is correct for each patient. In addition, phone calls and refills that are received after 4 p.m. may be handled the following day due to Brittney having to take care of other calls and refills from earlier in the day. Calls are returned in the order that they are received.

NGFM hires only the best. David Zollinger is our certified Physician Assistant. His experience, bedside manner, knowledge, and compassion give our patients an advantage. He is above qualified and one of the best physician assistants in the southeast!

Tracy Nichols (billing), Amanda Franklin, Stephanie Arrowood, Jennifer Gibson, and Alan Kendall are compassionate and caring. They manage to keep their cool even when patients call upset, feeling bad, or sick. They realize that patients are often in distress when they need a physician the most. Their patience, empathy, and understanding are amazing. NGFM is blessed to have these staff members.

Few people realize how much of a nurse's job is comprised of paperwork, forms, and documentation.

Just because the work is divided into sections (front, back, billing) doesn't mean that there is any division in our staff. Our staff must work together to make sure that the many forms are filled out, patient questions are answered, and billing is correct.

Stephanie Arrowood has worked part-time at NGFM since we first opened. At that juncture, she was a high school student looking for some money for college and experience in a doctor's office. Now, she is full-time student at Young Harris College with an excellent GPA. She plans to take her MCAT and dreams of attending medical school when she graduates.

Our front is friendly and fun! Amanda Franklin, featured in the front of this photo, is interested in pursuing a career with animals. Though she works full time, she is also a student.

Brandi Beavers is hard at work getting a medication prior authorized for a patient. Dealing with insurance companies is just part of a day's work!

NGFM uses a flag system to alert employees to when patients are ready to be seen, require blood work, need injections, and other basic services offered at NGFM.

Jennifer Gibson loves making people laugh. She always brings a smile to NGFM's patients' faces. This makes her an ideal employee to have as the first person that our patients meet when they arrive to NGFM's office.
